Parrot Danny and Canal Special

Used a mushroom style tail weight on the Canal Special... looking forward to using it next spring on the CCC

Both both plugs have cut 3/0 belly hooks...

used the fine mesh netting on the Canal Special and the medium mesh on the Danny (should be called a Donny)

Lookin' good, Chris. Is that pencil a copy of the OD Mike pencil with the same tail weight? If I remember correctly, he got the idea from ProfessorM for the weighting like that.

I always love parrot on plugs. Looks good I like the idea of painting the tail weight.

Fishbones, it does remind me alot of that plug O.d. gave me earlier in the year. I posted about it on the fish on custom wood thread.

yes.. Grapenuts and Professor M came up with the mushroom tail wts ... I modeled this canal from a plug I traded for with EThompson on SOL... very slender at the tie end and it casts a very well ... not sure how well the paint will stick to the lead once the plug gets used in the CCC with all the rocks ...
