I think there is a way to block members, by name, from sending you PM's. Check out "Edit Ignore List" in "User CP."

I was going to delete this whole thread but John's comment "you remind a lot of us of him" is just too good to lose!
This stuff is inappropriate for the board SSX. Statements like "I'm a about 120 # of pure kick yer ass if you come up to me, i pack a nice fillet knife if i need to use it, also !!!!! lol " are not appropriate. Tthe lol at the end doesn't make it ok.
Doesn't it strike you as strange that you are the only guy who ever made a statement like that here SSX?
Did you ever think that you posting stupid stuff like that here is exactly the response someone hoped you would make to get you in hot water here?
You got to think more before posting. |

SSX - when you really want to drop something, you can edit out the post and do it instead of leaving it up as a not so subtle reminder...
the "LOL" get's old quick too.
"120#s?" I've lost nearly that from this damn Norwalk Virus and I'm still double you... I glanced over the knife comment, you may want to not say or use that as their are a lot people out there that can do more with a little pig sticker than you can with your big filet knife. Some people wear sidearms too... And some are even cops... Just something to keep in mind.

SSX....I and many others here have counseled the young lad in question many times in the past.....and it hurts me greatly if in fact what you are saying is true, as I thought he was making great headway....but that's a whole other topic.
Now it's time for some counseling of your own. As was said, your posts here are exactly the type that was hoped for.....that trap has been laid on him many times in the past, and the reaction was the same.

Mike - thanks for editing the post. That's probably the best thing to do with it. I also have good reason to believe that he did not really threaten you and we should just pass this off as something that unfortunately happened. And that it really does not have any bearing on this board.
