used some purple/ green flip flop paint on a squid. not realistic but cool.

flip flop is an automotive paint which changes colors depending on direction of and intensity of light hitting it.

Is that the stuff you have to mortgage your first borns house to pay for? I saw a Winnebago with the stripe painted in that stuff, changed colors about six times as it drove by, way cool... he was telling me some ridiculous price per gallon

did i mention doing a plug that color to you yesterday don? was thinking it would be cool when the light hits it. found some in rattle can today. 3 different mix colors. green/blue/purple, green/copper and green/gold. got the 3 color one. |

Karl- 300$ or so per gallon, yep, that's the stuff. There are about 20 or so colors, 5 of which were available from my local automotive paint store in one ounce bottles for around 20 bucks each. The only other info I have is off the label that the paint store put on the bottle. CHROMALUSION BC; KK740FX;color-PERFECT JADE PRIZM. The guy was also good enough to add reducer # 7175S, ratio 1:1. Sorry, not sure of the manufacturer. The number looks like it might be House of Color, but maybe it was DuPont. The color, perfect jade priszm, that I got looks just like afterhours' pic.
BTW real nice job.

Hey PURPLE RULES. I'll tell you what. Down on chesapeak bay they buy a ton of purple lures off me. They say it's their best color. I do a lot of purple. I'll be starting to show them around here more. There was a fisherman from down in NC that told me that purple was by far the Hottest Night color.
