FWIW, I carry 3 plugs max 95% of the time (as back-up to eels) just not the same 3 each night.  
 
Most nights, 2 are redfins, 1 is a needle... if it is an outflow or a big heave on, 1 darter, 1 redfin, 1 needle. |
