Pats - V - Green Bay Game Thread

Patriots on a roll against a wounded Packers.
Does the GB QB getting his first start break out like Brady did in his first real start? Oh so many years ago?

 Predictions:

 Pats 31, GB 13

				 | Bieber - 31 - QB - 3 halftime sounds about it.
Pats may go higher in the 2nd half, depending on how much the offensive 1st string plays.

				 | Neighbor asked me to go and he has really, really good seats.
I think the Pats roll with a brief second quarter scare.

				 | This game scared me nefore thw kickoff it wasn't all that long ago that another back up came into a game and began a great career under center when no one gave him a chance. Too many People were talking about a blow out for it to really happen.Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device

I was scared bleepless of precisely that. Having gone to said game of which you speak when said noname back ascended in a game they shouldn't have won by beating the formidable nemesis from Indianapolis. |

				 | Man, what a game! Went through a whole roll of TP in the fourth Q alone. lol.Headlines, Green Bay played like they needed it. They ran all over us. Why they abandoned the run in the 4th Q I'll never know. Haven't seen the stats but they must have dominated in every category xcept turnovers. Ugly time management for the upstart rookie QB that had a great game otherwise.
Pats, didn't play like we needed. D looked unsettled at times but came through in the end. Offense struggled for sure.
Kudo's to the O line run back. I think that's an NFL record for an O line run back. Those freekin pooch kicks were driving me nuts.
Some of the most questionable officiating I've seen in a while.
These night games are fun, a little tough. Didn't get home till 3:30.

				 | I don't know why all the experts predicted a blowout, I did hear a couple say GB would be playing for their playoff lives here so it's a huge game for them. well they sure played like it.
Just because Flynn's a backup QB doesn't mean he's not capable of playing, the rest of his team is good and they had a great gameplan. I did not think Brady would struggle like that though.
Connolly return was awesome, so was the pick 6 which was right in front of us
Ya a win is a win
one more and homefield thoughout playoffs if they can keep it going
Oh ya, one more thing, the pats once again had to play against the refs, or atleast that's how it seemed to the crowd

I have to give credit to my son Danny for staying the whole game with me, anyone who knows how Danny is will understand how hard he tried to convince me to go, after the clock went to all zeros, he was happy he stayed too. 60,000 people went nuts at the end. It was so loud in there on that last play I couldn't believe it.

on to Buffalo

				 | Patriots tackling was piss poor....they were constantly over-committing and getting burned. That Guy Kuhn made us look silly all night long.
I know a W is a W....but they better tighten up that D before the playoffs get here..

				 | Good game for the fans. excitement every minute.
i thought the gme would be over with the interception with 6 min left but Banta-Cain got called for the hands in the face. What the refs neglected was the other guys both hands grabbing his facemask. I thought that call sucked bad. i also saw a few other bad calls but that was the most blatant and could have cost us the game.

Anyway , alls well that ends well. |
