				 | I have a few Pichney danny's.One goes close to 3 oz.I love that plug when the water gets up.Just hold it in the curl an u can see em flashing behind it.Till one takes it.I have a few 2 hook A-jrs made by danny also I have done pretty well with. These are the types I copy or Or should I say I make similar designs. As I can't get em without giving up a arm or a leg.Not really much of a surfcaster without them things.
So many lures. It's a PITA to make a bag sometimes.
Learning how they react in different surf conditions thru this building thing is worth there weight in gold. Not sure I would realize the difference if I did not start doing this.I wonder if the collectors know the difference..

 | If you lokk at my basement pictures and think wow, what a horder, I tell you frankly there are about a 100 plugs I wouldn't fish the others are all there for specific reasons and those reasons are for different conditions, places, time of year and matching specific bait availble at the time. I still fish Creek Chubs, Wooden Atoms, P-40 and 54's, Capn' Bill's etc. They were menat to catch fish and if you don't have them when you need them and your a plug fisherman your sh!t out of luck. Thats why I have so many.

Some collectors, like VB and AdamR., who have my deepest respect, collect antique to preserve the heritage and once in thier collections don't re-sell. I have sold to them because of this and know that what I have is going to a safe place and to someone with the utmost reverence for what they represent.

The majority though have no real clue and the escalation of value is thier only true motive.

Your statement Tony is profound and right on the money. Keep fishing those Pichneys, that is what they were made for!
Nice to see you back BTW!
