				 | Some guys use a hair dryer to dry the paint before removing the netting. Be careful painting the scales, go very lightly or it will look like crap. You can secure the netting with cloths pins or do like I did and stretch the netting over a coat hanger. |

				 | Get one of those plastic stack boxes that they sell at homies for storying screws, bolts, etc. Has three sides closed, front open. Stretch your mesh over the top and secure it (I used duct tape) on the three closed sides. Leave it just a little loose. Add a little weight in the bottom of the box. Instant mesh jig. Hold your plug up to the mesh and lift slightly to scretch the mesh over the plug. Spray your paint, then drop the plug straight down, flip and do the other side. Scales in under 10 seconds

				 | Here is a shot of the mesh jig in action. Lead ingots for weight. Also have the shop vac hose in the box to suck up overspray.

				 Tried one and.....
it looks great! However, maybe I did not dry it long enough MAC as it was a bit tacky and stuck just a little as I removed it....what do you think? I simply cut a small piece of the netting and secured it around the plug with a few of those alligator clips, the small ones, that you get at Homies! They worked great! Opening up all kinds of new possibilities now! |

				 | if you spray the plug black then apply the toule' then apply your colors. it will make the scale pattern really stick out.use really dry coats. spraying when it's 50 degrees out isn't optimal.
