				Pichney Jointed Jr??

Ok so in looking into further I think this plug is a pichney jointed jr.
Heres some info from the bassdozer site.

"Danny's Jointed Junior (third in photo) bore a similarity to Danny's Junior swimmer (bottom). Other traditional jointed eels (top and second) were slender-bodied and effective mainly in slow-moving water or gentle surf. Danny's Jointed Junior was not typical of other jointed eels in that Danny's Jointed Junior was wider-bodied and more robust to handle moderate surf and stronger flows (although the Jointed Junior also had its limitations).

Stronger and rougher water was generally not the domain of jointed eels nor the Danny Jointed Junior.

It is my impression which may be mistaken, that Danny's Jointed Junior plug model is very rare."

Heres some pics, more to follow.

So my question is, is it a real pichney jointed junior or a copy cat plug??

 Thanks for the help

				 | others will have more knowledge but both the tail and the wrap on the joint don't look like his. he usually does more of the "coffee roll" tail wrap (similar to a BM). Tail grommet is a little weird to.
On the other hand it was common for him to not have the lip flush with the plug but out a 1/8" or so. Sure looks like one

				 | Tail also tapers out a bit more then the bass dozer reference pic. Does the wire seem to be a thinner gauge? the wire looks similar to the wire on a masterlure. Along with the paint peel.
Lip also doesn't look like his typical lip

				 | I dont think it is a Danny. Although he did some different versions of plugs, the plug appears longer, the tail tapers quicker on yours and the lip and tail grommets are not right.Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device

				 | Any ideas on what it might be???
Like stated before I bought it with the intentions of turning some jointeds and using that plug as a reference.

Either way a good purchase for what I paid.

 | Garage builder is my guess, lots of sloppy things in the plug. If your gonna copy that question many things. |

				 | I'd agree with garage builder. Stamped lip commercially made no doubt. |

				 | Not a PichneyNot a homemade.

I'd guess Masterlure, although it is different than their more common jointed eel.

It looks older than a Pichney (grommets and brass wire).....it might be the plug Pichney copied to make his.

 Very cool
