Pencils,dannies and needles

This is the last of the stuff I've been working on. The pencils I turned last spring, but they were originally meant to be something along the lines of a glider/large needle. I never finished them, and this year when I pulled em back out I noticed they looked pencil'ish if you flipped em around backwards and since I'm down the canal all the time I figured I'd use pencils more so I went that route..
They are around 2.5 - 2 3/4 oz...

				 | more pencils in more basic colors...
And some needles that I have very high hopes for... I really like the way these came out. I wanted something not completely dark for nights with just a little brightness.

And my favorite plugs to fish. Danny's in all the gotta have basic colors. The paint on these are an experiment, my first time messing around with oil paints so nothing fancy. Rustoleum right out of the cans thinned just enough so you can spray it... (i did cheat and fogged the eye on the green one with acrylic, for some reason olive danny's gotta have black eyes).

Like the pencils. The shape and all. They will catch in the canal for sure, esp. pink.

Plugs are looking great DJ. Pencils are sweet. Like the shape you gave them. At first it messes with your head a little. They look like they could swim either way. Needles are perfect. Love the shape. And the dannies...I'm big time! Olive .

Dave - you've been busy. When am I visiting again? I don't think I have any of those fat dannies (yet). Very nice as usual. I'm think those might work nice over on that island you visit, at that point.
