				Muskies do the Jitterbug?

Finished up the J-bugs with epoxy, currently wiring them now. Here is a sample for my buddy STEVEL, notice the tail :rock on:
I hope you enjoy them as much as I did making them! I love this hobby
More to come!

I hope everyone's season is going well!

				 | Did you offset the lip? Supposedly this is helpful for getting jitterbugs working quickly (I learned this reading an interview with Arbogast). |

				 | Numbskull,
How do you mean "offset" the lip? Do you mean slightly off center a little left-to-right, or up-and-down?

Never heard of it, but please respond as I'm always interested in a new trick...And they do take a little umph to get going
thanks for the tips

				 | Arbogast said the secret to his jitterbug was that the lip was mounted marginally to one side. This created an asymetric pull and got the lure working immediately and at slower speed than an on-center lip. I've never built one, but it makes perfect sense. |

				 | I remember reading the same thing...and if you look at a plastic one straight on at the lip...you'll see its tilted ever so slightly. |
