Shanghai'ed
Here I sit in Shang Hai . My flight is delayed (maybe cancelled, we'll see) . I can't get out to reticket on another airline cause i have already gone through the Chinese outgoing immigrations (yep , unlike the US , they check you coming and going here).
The last thing you need when facing 24 hours on planes and in airports is to face a big delay right at the start.
OK . That's my bitching session. I feel better now......NOT!!  |

I'm still in the airport in Shanghai. been 10 hours now. I'm eating little cake squares and peanuts. There are a lot of people in the same boat. Something in here is starting to stink. It could be me!!  |

I made it home. What a long haul! 34 hours door to door from my Shanghai hotel to home. Worst ever for me,
Oh well , alls well that ends well!

Good to hear you made it back. One time coming back from Hong Kong, landed in Chicago ok, then connector to here we sat on the runway for 4 hrs before flight got canceled...then couldnt get a flight till late that nite..was like 34 hours also..misery
