I grew up around Cam Neely; he and Rick and Pederson and Terry, were to me the Bruins--the heart and soul of them.

I just watched Neely's number get hoisted up into the center rafters. Should have been at the old Garden, because I don't think the Fleet Center has much of a soul. The old Garden hummed when you walked into it, had a certain pulse of energy, that I think the Fleet totally lacks--and the Bruins of today, to be honest, I don't really give a crying hoot about.

Hats off Cam! You deserve it.
