I love when is snows! I hit the lathe hard after shoveling for 4 hours! I have a bunch of 6 1/2" chunky pencils spun up. They worked well last spring and cast a country mile.

Thanks for the advice. Yes, i'm just a hack! I just put the insert back on the grinding wheel and touched it up. Its cutting much better now.

Jointed eel

Here is a jointed eel that that were just finished up. Its 12" and a hair over 4oz. mahogany. Swims awesome!! Can't wait to fish it.

Some Danny's and Trollers

Here are some of the lures i've been working on and off for too long but have finally finished.

The Danny's are about 6 3/4 inches and about 2.5oz.

The trollers are 8 inches and 3 1/4oz.

I like making fancy lookin plugs with blacked out eyes, scales, and multi colors, but the fact is I almost exclusively fish Black, Yellow, and White. That's my theory.
