Cap'n Bill's used to make some swimming plugs that had a small
spinner (flaptail) hanging on the back loop. Might be worth trying.

I think the boat guys have a bit of an advantage. Depending on the number of entries, how about seperate catagories? A good boat guy will handle a lot more fish than a good surfcaster...
