went on the blackhawk very recently out of CT, fished at Cox’s and on the very first drop, the second I hit bottom, i brought up a keeper sea bass and a just short sea bass. Wasn’t that red hot the whole day but i got my limit of sea bass plus some tog, kept a couple
of big scup, hake, bergdal, ling, and cod which were released. . was a nice mixed bag.

The crew could not have been more friendly and pleasant.

I will go back. Not always a fan of party boats but it was fantastic

They are a reliably well run operation with very friendly mates. I have personally known two over the years and both were total professionals and great guys.

Sounds like good action! Too bad it took steaming all the way to Coxes to find he fish. Normally the East Grounds, well within eyesight of Block, are pretty loaded with biscuits and a handful of market cod this time of year. Perhaps times are changing.
