 45! Great job, that's awesome. :btu: |

1 Attachment(s) ah G. it is just a home made knock off hunk of stainless. I used the chrome one. They are all homemade. I can't see spending and losing a 35 dollar lure. Easy enough to make myself. I just buy the weights which they sell separate. Bitch is bending the stainless. They do work real well for big fish as I have gotten several over 45 the last several years, but you really need to use wire which most people hate. The fish I got last week swallowed the whole lure which is the first time i had that happen. Usually you don't get a real good hook up because of the wild action of the lure. I never count on a spoon caught fish until it is in the boat as i have lost some beauties right at boat side because of crappy hook ups. |

Yeah G. they work real well sometimes. Been the only thing working for me so far. Most times if you are lucky enough to hook up it is usually a good fish. Rod is important too with them. I have not tried any of the slopeheads yet but maybe in the near future if the T&W fishing does not get better for me. I do have few in my tackle trunk. |

1 Attachment(s) It ain't 45, and Sauerkraut did me @ 10lbs better, but this one felt good.....first night of vacation.....first real trip in a while.......tough spot......and it ate a lazyfish to boot. Fried my camera, though. |

 nice fish! |

Numby: I have my photos in my PC and STILL don't know how to Attach it because the pic is huge megapixels, with mygood camera and technical prowess; but it needs to be dumbed down to 800x800 for Attachment here. Obviously, I know how to dumb myself down a lot easier than dumbing down a PC pic. |

Summer Doldrums 2 Attachment(s) Trip hosted by Numbskull. I left the eels behind. The pictures are two different fish; in fact two different needles. Numby doesn't give me white plugs; so, I am forced to go out and buy them. The Fish: 36-3 47" and 24-0 41" The Plugs: SG Needle and a Gag's 9" Needle. Both rigged single treble only. No tail hooks. All fish released, of course. Yet I practically kill myself pursuing them. Bonds to all who love them enough to release them. |

You look better in the first photo. |

1 Attachment(s) Nice fish Joe, you are on some nice fish! Here's the best I could do last night, 22#'s on a tiger needle. This was the lone highlight from a verrrrry long night/morning. But it is august, and I guess any night you hear your drag is a good night. |
|
Nice fish, Joe. We're scratching down here, but I hope it becomes showtime from up your way. Keep 'em coming. Good stuff as well, DJ. Last pm seemed very slow where I was, too. Congrats for working a decent fish out of it. |

Nice fish on that tiger needle! Awesome! |
